Project context

The Bistro Garage is a unique concept combining a restaurant and an automobile showroom, offering a hybrid experience between gastronomy and automotive passion. With its modern ambiance and atypical facilities, the establishment attracts a clientele with varied profiles, ranging from car enthusiasts to enthusiasts of good cuisine.

The objective of this project was to rethink the user experience in order to harmonize these two worlds and create a fluid and pleasant journey for customers.

My role as a UX Designer

My work consisted of analyzing the behaviors and expectations of Bistro Garage customers through in-depth user research .
In particular, I studied:

Customer expectations regarding the overall experience, integrating both catering and the automotive world.

The challenges linked to the potential lack of experience and availability of a team mainly made up of students.

Post-COVID behaviors , influencing space management and customer interactions with the place.

UX goals

Optimize the user experience by harmonizing the gastronomic aspect with the automotive exhibition, in order to create a coherent and engaging experience for customers.

Adapt ergonomics and navigation to facilitate discovery of gastronomic offers and vehicles on display, thus improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Integrate innovative solutions to overcome the specific challenges linked to managing a team composed mainly of students.

Meet new post-COVID standards in the restaurant industry by ensuring customer safety and comfort while maintaining a high-quality experience.

This project allowed me to explore innovative UX strategies, adopt an iterative approach and collaborate with the various stakeholders to propose an optimized solution, aligned with the expectations of Bistro Garage customers.
